All Excess Injectors are rated at 3 bar (43.5psi).

Other companies can use smoke and mirrors with injector ratings. They might say their injectors are rated 1650cc but when you look at the description it says at 4bar. Other injectors in their range are rated at 3 bar so it creates confusion.

They will reliably operate up to 8 bar (116 psi). Your base fuel pressure plus any boost pressure should not exceed 116psi.

There are many factors that need to be considered when working out how big your injectors need to be, but at the end of the day it all comes down to how much horsepower you expect to realistically make.

We have a handy calculator here to help. Keep in mind that this is a guide to put you in the ballpark, if you are not tuning the engine yourself then please confirm the injector size required with your engine tuner before any purchases.

You only need serial numbers from 2 different injectors in your set.

Go to the Data Download section of the website, put your serial numbers in and it will take you to the online portal.

From there you can download the tuning data in any format you like and see the flow profiles of each injector and the testing parameters.

Every set of Excess comes with everything you need to fit the injectors in the rail and connect the injectors to the factory wiring harness. If your set needs connectors, they will be in the kit.

We supply the one-piece connectors where we can at no extra cost. If they are not available for your set up then we supply connectors with plugs and pins all separate.

Yes, they all have stainless steel internals and are compatible with all fuels including MTBE race fuels.
